Bernard Dazey, Ph D, started in blood transfusion by working successfully on the manufacture of highly purified and viro-inactivated plasma coagulation factors, obtaining operating patents.
He then became the head of the cell and tissue engineering department at EFS Nouvelle Aquitaine, for cell therapy, placental blood bank and tissue bank.
Bernard was a consultant for 8 years in the hematopoietic stem cells group, and a member of the board of cell and gene therapy of AFSSAPS. In addition, he was a member of scientific societies such as SFGM -TC and SFBCT
He has long collaborated with hospital hematology departments to implement clinical therapeutic protocols. These trials are based on cell transplants obtained from ex vivo expansion of peripheral blood or cord blood cells. Numerous articles have been published on these studies.
